Camp Was a Great Success
We are happy to report that five students were baptized at camp this summer! Connor, Anna, Victoria, Francisco, and Marissa made the decision to put on Christ in baptism.
 This is a momentous decision for anyone. Choosing to follow God is a huge commitment. It is a choice to put the past and its scars behind and trust in God to build a brighter future. It is a turning away from old habits, old ways of coping, old ways of behaving, and choosing to allow the Spirit to lead them in a new and better way.
These students need you now more than ever! They need your prayers. And they need financial support so they can take full advantage of the opportunity to come to know Christ more fully while they are at The Children's Home of Lubbock.
For those of you who wish to help, your gift of $35 at this time will be used to purchase good study Bibles for these new Christians and for the other boys and girls on our campus. We'd like to have their names engraved on them so that, when they leave us, their Bible can go with them and be their own personal connection to the Lord.
