Get ready for October 31st, because the class has decided the group business will be a ClassE Zombie Run in the morning and a Keep it ClassE Halloween Dance in the evening. We are also exploring the possibility of selling virtual reality glasses using the 3-D printer and design by Mr. Leo Kitten and Lake Land College.
For the next two months, we will have more work days to ensure we will get the work completed.

Jim Short of Powersport HQ discussed all the decisions he had to make starting this new business in Coles County.
The white board was filled with ideas as we continued through the brainstorming process to come up with a group business idea.. Next, students did research on the feasibility of each idea.
Leo Kitten, instructor at Lake Land College, explained the process of using 3D technology to design and produce a motorized skateboard. We discussed the opportunities that 3D printing provides.
Whitney presents her early findings about the virtual reality glasses to the class. Students then voted "thumbs up or thumbs down" to see if the idea would make it to the feasibility stage.
Due to the increased enrollment, the class will meet at the Coles County Council on Aging LifeSpan Center for the entire year. We will still be touring businesses 2-3 days per week. Thank you LifeSpan for this great partnership.
