"Entrepreneurship: Bright Ideas" workshop.

Entrepreneurial thinking is vital and needs to be nurtured to grow the economic vitality of the region. The Prairiespark e-hub and Bright Ideas Entrepreneurship Workshop is the ideal place for teachers, economic developers, librarians, parents, interested volunteers and entrepreneurs who want to start youth entrepreneurship programs or start a venture of their own. 

 

The workshop will begin with an lunch at noon before progressing into a general session. After the general session, the day is packed with breakout sessions led by speakers who specialize in both business and youth entrepreneurship. Some of the speakers include: Dr. Julie Chadd - Eastern Illinois University, Jeanne Dau - Business Solutions Center, Susan Hanfland - SCH Consulting, Tiffany Kline - Business Solutions Center and Dr. Mike Rudibaugh - Lake Land College.

 

For those traveling a distance there may be a $25 travel stipend available (limited to 50 registered attendees) and educators can earn up to 4 CPDUs.
