The Christian Worldview Film Festival and Filmmakers Guild is happening March 11-15, 2014 and will feature over 60 films and more than 40 unique filmmaking workshops. This event is being held at Castle Hills First Baptist Church located at 2220 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78213, this church facility can seat nearly 2,000. Media Talk 101 is a non-profit ministry dedicated to teaching media discernment in the light of following Christ. Phillip Telfer is the founder and director who has recently relocated to Texas with his family to serve as a pastor with Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler at Living Water Fellowship in Bulverde, TX. Phillip has ministered to youth and families over the last 20 years, sharing at camps, retreats, conferences, Christian schools and church services around the country. He is a teacher for the annual "Lamplighters Guild" hosted by Mark Hamby and has been a guest teacher at MasterWorks Festival. He has written and produced an award winning documentary called Captivated which addresses the impact of media in our culture and the growing need for discernment.
