Sustainable Corrugated to create 62 jobs, invest $15 million in Dalton-Whitfield

The Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority announced that Sustainable Corrugated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jackson Paper Manufacturing Co., will create 62 jobs and invest $15 million into a corrugated sheets manufacturing facility in Dalton-Whitfield County.  Development on the plant site is already in progress.

Dalton Produces Leaders
As a manufacturing hub and center of the worldwide carpet industry, Dalton has an outsized influence on Georgia, and the city is well represented in Georgia Trend magazine's latest "100 Most Influential Georgians" list.
The list, which recognizes those who have made significant contributions that positively impact Georgia citizens, appears in the magazine's January issue
.
State Sen. Charlie Bethel, R-Dalton, was among those named to the list for the third straight year.  Vance Bell, chairman and CEO of Dalton-based Shaw Industries, also made the list for the third year in a row.
