Chamber Offers Business University
2013 Supervisory Academy Begins in April

John D. Rockefeller said, "The ability to deal with people is as purchasable a commodity as sugar or coffee, and I will pay more for that ability than for any other under the sun."   In order to be effective, not only do supervisors have to clearly understand their job and what's expected of them, they also have to be well-trained in the business of managing people.  Enhancing the knowledge, skills and abilities of frontline supervisors and leads will maximize their potential and add value to the organization. Their day-to-day interaction with employees has a tremendous impact on an organization's ability to achieve goals and sustain results.

The goal of this series is to reflect clear and meaningful information that will enhance the participants' leadership effectiveness.  This series is designed so that supervisors and leads will: (1) Embrace key leadership principles, (2) Discover their individual leadership strengths and challenges, and (3) Expand their influence and ability to get results through the people they manage.  This is series is designed to build capacity and learning with each module, so it is better for the participant to take the entire series versus one or two classes.

Location: The classes will be held at NGCEE Office located in Downtown Dalton at 113 West Gordon Street (next to Stage 123).

Time:  The classes are from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  For more information contact Tangela W. Johnson at 706-529-2800, or go to www.ngcee.com.

Cost:  The per person cost for each module is $125 for non-members and $115 for Chamber and SGN Members. Payment for classes can be made on-line at ngcee.com/workshops. To purchase all four classes upfront is $440.00 per person (an additional $20 savings for members).
