Greetings UPAF Supporters,

Deanna Tillisch Wow, it's been an incredible few months for UPAF, as we pushed through a sensational 2014 Campaign. Under the leadership of this year's three Co-Chairs - Bob Arzbaecher, Therese Burkhart and  Glen Hackmann - I'm thrilled to announce that UPAF achieved a record-setting goal of $11,728,476. This is more than a 15.3% increase over the last two years! I am incredibly proud of and overjoyed by the outpouring of support we've received from the entire region of Southeastern Wisconsin.

The UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, also was a huge success with more than 6,000 participants and 800 volunteers coming together on a perfect spring day. Again this year, our Honorary Ride Chair was Tom Cardella, president and CEO of Tenth and Blake Beer Company at MillerCoors. Tom dedicated a lot of time and energy throughout the entire day - from sending off riders at the Starting Line, to serving beer at the "tasting table," to presenting the Ride Team of the Year trophy during the Finish Line Party. Thank you, Tom!

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to our UPAF Board of Directors and the 2014 Campaign Cabinet for the dedication and enthusiasm they have shown throughout the 2014 Campaign. Our tireless Loaned Executives were the face of UPAF in more than 220 workplaces. UPAF thanks the organizations that sponsored this year's Loaned Executives and the corporate sponsors who made their participation possible.

We also applaud the more than 1,000 volunteers that helped raise money, organize the Ride, stuff letters, make phone calls, sort materials, etc. With a staff of fewer than 25, UPAF relies heavily on volunteers to pull together all aspects of the campaign.

Most importantly, we extend our deep and heartfelt gratitude to the individuals, companies and foundations that contributed this year to UPAF. It is inspirational to see firsthand the enthusiasm that exists to ensure we sustain exceptional performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin, as well as the important arts education that our Member Groups provide to our region's children. Every dollar donated to UPAF makes a difference, and we greatly appreciate each and every one.

I would like to again express my thanks - on behalf of the UPAF Board of Directors and UPAF staff - to everyone involved in the 2014 Campaign.
