FUNDRAISING - WHY RAISE PLEDGES?
Your entry fee for the UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, helps to cover the costs of the event. Donating an additional amount to the Ride yourself, or collecting pledges from family and friends, is a great way to increase the impact you have on Milwaukee's cultural future.
UPAF is essential to sustaining the thriving, diverse and distinct performing arts scene we enjoy in Southeastern Wisconsin. - As an umbrella organization, UPAF supports a breadth of performing arts groups that collectively offer something for everyone through its Member Groups and Affiliates.
- UPAF Member Groups touch more than one million people through performances, educational outreach, special events and community partnerships each year.
The goal for the UPAF 2013 Campaign is $11 million. If every participant in the UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, raised just $25, together we would raise an extra $175,000 in support of the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin. If everyone raised $100? That's $700,000 raised! How easy is it to raise $100? Just ask 10 coworkers for $10 each! Or four friends for $25 each! Or two family members for $50 each!

With only 33 days left in the campaign, we have passed the $7 million mark on our way to the $11 million goal. You can help support the incredible asset we enjoy in Southeastern Wisconsin - our world-class performing arts scene - with a donation at www.UPAF.org.
