Marilyn Morris
Believing the Lie
By Marilyn Morris, President

Some memories last forever.  Like the memory of my boyfriend walking in my house to tell my parents I was pregnant.  That's one memory that will definitely be forever ingrained in my brain.  I was 17, a senior in high school and Chuck was 18, a freshman at Texas Tech University.  Chuck took about three steps inside my house on a Sunday evening.  Once he realized both my parents were within earshot he paused and simply said, "I'm sorry to tell you, but Marilyn's pregnant and we want to get married next weekend."

My parents' response was unexpected and is also ingrained in my memory.

This is our newest High School ONLY program.  We refer to this as In Your Face Information about Pregnancy and STDs.  This program also provides additional information on contraception.  As with all Aim For Success programs, students learn the advantages of saving sex for marriage and the freedom this lifestyle provides - freedom from pregnancies, STDs, lifelong regrets and freedom to fulfill dreams and goals.  While the program is somewhat shocking for some students, 93% rated the program excellent or good last year and 87% stated they learned new information.

Statistics from the
2013-2014 School Year

Last year Aim For Success provided 1,209 presentations to 103,317 students.

Students rated the programs as follows:
72% Excellent
23% Good
4% Fair
1% Poor

90% said they learned something new.

 Scheduling

Presently we are flooded with people scheduling their presentations.  If you haven't scheduled your preferred dates for this school year, this is a great time to do so.
