K-8 Corner November
It is hard to believe that we have been in school for three months! It seems like the time has flown by. Classes are now in full swing and students and teachers alike have been having a blast. All classes have focused on being good school citizens, getting along with classmates, and having fun while learning! All students have been able to use the new recess equipment and craft materials that were donated through DonorsChoose.org this summer. Many have participated in thank you activities for the donors. Please take a moment and talk to your student about the new materials and remind them how lucky we are to have received these materials. The Green Oak Ranch field trip was Amazing! The students were able to participate in outdoor activities, a dance workshop, arts and crafts, nature farm fun, and Literature comes to life. We thank all who signed up and attended. We encourage you to keep this event in mind for next year and sign up for the fun! Just a friendly reminder...when students come to campus for class (Monday through Wednesday 9:30 - 1:00) they are not required to sign in at the front office. Students do wait in the office until they are called over to class, but they do not sign in to the sign in notebook or receive a pass. Teachers are taking attendance in class to verify that students are on campus. Thank you!
