Hospital Safety Score Now Posting Past Grades Too
Enhanced data shows more than ever before
On April 29, Leapfrog released its latest round of Hospital Safety Scores for over 2,500 hospitals in this country. For the first time, we have revealed grades back to 2012 so consumers can easily keep tabs on their local hospital. Does it have Straight A's? Has it improved over time? Find out now!
Our easy-to-use letter grade scoring system allows consumers to quickly assess the safety of their local hospital, and choose the safest hospital to seek care.
Thousands have already checked their Hospital Safety Score. Have you?
(And for our friends to the North, could a Hospital Safety Score be possible in Canada?)

Archival reports now available for the Hospital Safety Score
With the latest release of Hospital Safety Scores, consumers and health care professionals can now see a hospital's track record on safety. To learn more about these past grades, hospitals can now purchase archival reports for all previous grades.
These archival reports show exactly how a hospital performed on each individual measure, along with the measure weight and the national mean. It's a great way to target areas for improvement. So get started, and order online today!

Founded in 2000 by large employers and other purchasers, The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization driving a movement for giant leaps forward in the quality and safety of American health care. The flagship Leapfrog Hospital Survey collects and transparently reports hospital performance, empowering purchasers to find the highest-value care and giving consumers the lifesaving information they need to make informed decisions. The Hospital Safety Score, Leapfrog's other main initiative, assigns letter grades to hospitals based on their record of patient safety, helping consumers protect themselves and their families from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.
