Bill Campbell & Kent Follette

Bill Campbell makes a beautiful line of functional porcelain pottery in a lovely blue glaze.
In addition to Bill's blue pottery, he has collaborated with his friend Kent Follette to produce stunning crystalline pottery pieces, also high fired porcelain and fully functional.
We absolutely love this pottery, and love showing it to you!

Bill and Kent's crystalline pottery is called Flambeaux.
The glaze contains a chemical composition that allows crystals to grow. The pottery must be held at a specific temperature for an extended period to allow the crystals to form. Each piece is different. All are beautiful.

Most people think of Crystalline pottery as a decorative form of pottery... vases, lamps, and large bowls. Bill and Kent make functional dinnerware as well as a large variety of decorative pieces. The pottery is completely food safe, dishwasher friendly, and microwavable.

Furry Friend... Eddie

Our Furry Friend featured dog this month is waiting for his forever home at the Carteret County Humane Society Animal Shelter in Newport, NC

Meet Eddie! Eddie is an 11 month old Pit Bull Terrier/ American Bulldog mix, who loves everyone he meets!
People, children, other dogs, cats....... Eddie thinks everyone is his friend. Whether marching (proudly) in the Beaufort Veteran's Day Parade, or greeting the public at adopt-a-thons, Eddie is an ambassador for shelter dogs everywhere. Like all young dogs and puppies, Eddie will need guidance and training as he learns how to live in a home environment. With a little patience and a lot of TLC he will learn quickly and will blossom into the wonderful companion he was meant to be.
