Seema Agarwal-Harding
|
Seema Agarwal-Harding, a US citizen and resident of Maryland, is inspired by the colors, patterns and designs of her native India, and the city of Jaipur where she was born. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of London and has traveled and worked all over the world as a career diplomat, focusing on humanitarian and international eduction development projects for the United Nations, non-governmental organizations and US Agency for International Development.

With a passion for art, she has taken art classes at the University of Maryland College of Art, and enjoys doing watercolor, ceramics and fabric art. She finds time to pursue her passion for art wherever she goes, incorporating art and cultures of the countries where she travels and lives for periods of her time.  | detail of Iris Scarf |

Currently, she is spending half of her time in Indonesia, where she has been inspired by the strong traditions of batik art, and the hindu culture of the beautiful island of Bali.
