For over 30 years Homewood has hosted a farmers market with the finest vendors selling fresh food, drinks, vegetables, flowers, and more! Homewood's market is located at Village Hall parking lot, 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Hey parents! While shopping at the market, have your kids create their own musical instruments.
Members of the Homewood Flossmoor Symphonic and Viking Jazz Bands will be at the Farmers Market to help kids create shakers, harmonicas, clackers, and drums for a small donation towards their spring trip to China. The group will be performing in Beijing and Shanghai; a special highlight will be a tour of the ancient city "wall" in China with a possible evening performance concert.

Residents are accustomed to a busy social calendar filled with special events and activities hosted by the Village of Homewood, Homewood-Flossmoor Park District, Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Homewood Business Association, and various local service groups.
