McGrath has been a full time officer since 1995 working in the patrol and investigative divisions, she was promoted to sergeant in 2008. |

Political dysfunction and polarization has brought American politics to historical lows. As we get closer to election day, the poisonous rhetoric is reaching an all-time high. The public is invited to a special screening of "Patriocracy", a new documentary that drills down to the roots of political polarization and offers sound solutions to move beyond it. This screening will take place on Monday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Prairie State College Auditorium, 202 Halsted Street, Chicago Heights. A discussion will follow the film. Residential areas of the Village will be swept October 15th -31st , November 1st -15th, November 16th -30th . Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from the streets when the sweeper is in the area to allow it to clean along the curb.
