Comment on proposed Circular A-133 changes
AICPA invites comments by April 16 on U.S. Office of Management and Budget's proposed changes for Circular A-133 audits of states, local governments and nonprofits. Send comments to gaqc@aicpa.org. An AICPA webex conference call featuring Mary Foelster, director of the AICPA GAQC, is scheduled for April 11 at 2 p.m. CST. Contact Mary at 202-434-9259 for more information.

CPAs represent the profession
Thirty WICPA members represented the CPA profession in Madison on  Jan. 23 for Advocacy Day 2013. Visits were scheduled with 44 legislators, where members shared policy positions on a number of issues impacting Wisconsin CPAs and businesses. View photo highlights.

2012 MAP survey regional reports available
Reports summarizing the data from the 2012 National MAP Survey data for the Midwest region and Wisconsin are now available for WICPA members on the WICPA website. Reports from 2006, 2008 and 2010 are also available. These reports provide useful data for firms to compare key practice management metrics such as financial performance and operations relative to similar sized firms regionally and nationally.
