Changes at Healthy Waltham
Our work in the community continues
with new roles for valued staff

Judy Fallows will be stepping down from her position as Executive Director of Healthy Waltham at the end of the month.  Ms. Fallows has led this organization since 2006. Healthy Waltham develops connections between community stakeholders and creates opportunities for Waltham residents to learn ways to live healthier lives through healthy eating, cooking, gardening, and increased physical activity.

"Our plan is to continue the outstanding work that Ms. Fallows has begun in Waltham," said Laura Goldin, Board Member and Professor of the Practice of Environmental Studies at Brandeis University, "We want to express our thanks to Judy for her years of  commitment to the health of those who live, work and learn in Waltham, and to wish her the best of luck in the future." Ms. Fallows states "I will always hold a special place in my heart for Healthy Waltham and what we have accomplished; it's now time for me to reevaluate my work/life balance and to refocus on my main interests in garden education and urban gardening."

The work of Healthy Waltham will continue with current staff: Maria DiMaggio, Communications and Development Coordinator, and Reva Haselkorn, Chef Instructor and Program Coordinator. Both Ms. DiMaggio and Ms. Haselkorn are looking forward to moving the important work of Healthy Waltham forward for the benefit of the community.
