Planting the Seeds of Health in Waltham for 10 Years!
Dear Friend,
Ten years ago, we came together with just the seed of an idea. We recognized a desire for the people of Waltham to improve their health in the places they live, work, learn and play. With a small grant to improve wellness in schools and food served in school cafeterias, and then more support to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent obesity and chronic diseases in all age groups, our work has evolved and grown, reaching thousands of people in the Waltham community.

Thanks for joining us in this journey! In our first 10 years Healthy Waltham has:
  • Promoted healthy lifestyles at many events in the Waltham community
  • Collaborated with the Waltham Public Schools and many other agencies and groups
  • Organized and supported eight school and community learning gardens
  • Collaborated with other Waltham agencies on healthy lifestyle promotion and chronic disease prevention education
  • Conducted nutrition education and cooking programs and recipe demonstrations with Waltham children, youth and families
  • Coordinated the "Mass in Motion" and "Let's Move" health initiatives in Waltham

Please help us with a donation, so our work will continue to grow for the next ten years. A donation of $25, $50, $100, or what you can contribute, will help support us.

You can make your gift count even more: an anonymous donor will match all contributions made by December 31, 2013 up to $2,500. Please act now so your gift will go further!

All donations to Healthy Waltham are tax-deductible. To donate online, please click here or on the donation button below. Or send a check to Healthy Waltham, 510 Moody Street, Waltham, MA 02453.

Thank you very much for your support and helping us to continue to grow the seeds of health in Waltham for another 10 years.

Sincerely,
