STEM AK Summer Camps - Registration is open!

Make summer count! JEDC's summer camps help keep kids engaged during the summer months. Whether they're learning to solder, bake the perfect scone, or program a robot to run circles around the competition, we promise it will be time well spent!

You're invited! District Energy Workshop on 6/12

Guest speakers Jessie Baker and Michael Ahern will share their experience with distrit energy in Montpelier, Vermont. Jessie, the assistant City Manager of Montepelier, will present on the city's recently complete District Energy project which uses hot water pumped through a network of underground pipes to heat their Capitol complex and additional downtown buildings. Michael, the Senior VP of Project Development for Ever-Green Energy of St. Paul, MN, will discuss the success of the community energy system in St. Paul.

The purpose of this workshop will be to learn more about district energy and to develop a network of communities interested in exploring and developing this opportunity further.
