UPCOMING EVENTS & NEWS
WE RECENTLY RECEIVED A THANK-YOU LETTER from the Children's Home Society for our Tree Angel donations at Christmastime. Please click here to read the letter.
SUNDAY, MARCH 20: IT'S THE THIRD SUNDAY AND PRAYER MINISTERS are available to pray with you for whatever your needs may be. The Prayer Ministers will be in the Clarke Chapel after Communion at both services. The Prayer Ministry is a confidential, personal way to pray for your particular needs and recognize God's presence in your life.
SUNDAY, MARCH 20: MANY THANKS TO BOB CHANT AND ALL WHO HELPED WITH HOMELESS SHELTER LAST WEEK.
SUNDAY, MARCH 20: EASTER CANDY IS AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP IN THE NICHOLAS ROOM.
SUNDAY, MARCH 20: THE RITE OF RECONCILIATION is the sacramental rite in which those who repent may confess their sins to God in the presence of a priest and receive the assurance of pardon and the grace of absolution (BCP, p. 861). It is also called penance and confession. The church's ministry of reconciliation is from God, "who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation" (2 Cor 5:18). The ministry of reconciliation has been committed by Christ to the church. It is exercised through the care each Christian has for others, through the common prayer of Christians assembled for public worship, and through the priesthood of the church and its ministers declaring absolution (BCP, p. 446). The Reconciliation of a Penitent is not limited to times of sickness. Confessions may be heard at any time and any place, but we are especially inviting you to consider it during this holy season of Lent. If you are interested, please contact Rev. Joanna for an appointment. (rector@christchurchnewbrunswick.org; 732.545.6262).
SUNDAY, MARCH 20: TODAY IS THE DEADLINE FOR EASTER FLOWER AND MUSIC DONATIONS. Please see the order form at the back of your leaflet if you would like to make a donation.
FRIDAY, MARCH 25: THE PARISH OFFICE WILL CLOSE AT 11 AM ON GOOD FRIDAY, and will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday, March 28 & 29.
SATURDAY, MARCH 26: Ever wonder how the church comes alive for the Easter Festival? Where do all those flowers and plants come from? Come join us on Saturday, March 26th at 10 a.m. for Saturday Office, and afterwards learn the secrets and join the fun as we "flower" the church. Any questions, please contact Eric Sanders.
SUNDAY, MARCH 27: THE FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS to provide baked goods and/drinks for our Easter Sunday brunch. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church, or you can contact Beverly Stott at 732.896.4933 or bstott510@gmail.com.
SUNDAY, MARCH 27: CALLING ALL CHILDREN! We will be hosting the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt here at Christ Church on Easter Sunday, March 27! The hunt will take place on church grounds immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service. We encourage all children to join us, and all youth to help us plan and hide the eggs! Please contact Sheila Cooper at sheilajcooper@comcast.net with any questions.

FREE PARKING VOUCHERS are available for the Lower Church Street parking deck next to the church grounds. Please see an usher for a voucher and instructions. WHERE IS THE MINISTERS OF THE LITURGY LIST? The Ministers of the Liturgy section of the Parish Notes is now on the penultimate page of the document. Liturgical Ministers and all who are involved in various activities related to Sunday services should be on the lookout for a new ePistle that is sent out weekly with the same information that formerly appeared at the bottom of the weekly email blast. Any questions, please contact Julia in the Parish office.
JUST A REMINDER THAT THERE IS A LIVE FEED of the service in the Nursery (located near the Parish Offices) for those parents or guardians who might choose to take their children there during services. IF YOU NEED A RIDE TO CHURCH for an upcoming worship service or other church activity, please call Julia Utz, Parish Administrator, at the Parish Office 732.545.6262 and let her know which service or other activity for which you would like a ride, as well as your pickup location.
WEEKLY PUBLICATION DEADLINES: Please keep in mind that information you would like included in our weekly publications needs to be submitted in a timely fashion so our Parish Administrator has enough time to edit. For printed Parish Notes, the deadline is Wednesday at 11 a.m.; for the weekly e-mail blast, please submit by Thursday at noon. Thank you for your cooperation.
