APRIL IS HERE, following March's weather roller coaster with winter-like temperatures, winds and storms, along with highs of 80 degrees and then back again! Thankfully, the blossoms survived; the colors were spectacular and greenery is abundant now. We hope all of you are enjoying the season -- we look forward to seeing you in the Shop and "virtually" through our online store.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW! ARTIE YELLOWHORSE TRUNK JEWELRY SHOW IS TWO DAYS THIS YEAR! WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, MAY 11 AND 12!MarkCalendars
May 11 and 12 -- We are very excited this spring to have Artie Yellowhorse with us for a TWO DAY trunk jewelry show! You have more opportunity to make it in for one of the days...or even make it in for both. Artie and her daughters Desiree and Leilani have been very excited about new stones, including some beautiful American-mined turquoise from Nevada mines. If you have any special requests before the show, let us know by calling 202-208-4056 or emailing and we will let Artie know. While it's not always possible to make an exact match, Artie is the best at finding complimentary pieces to go with the jewelry you already have.

TAKE A LOOK...AT A GREAT BOOKGreatBook
This catalogue from a special exhibit by the Iroquois Indian Museum in 2004 chronicles the life work of Stan Hill, who was noted for his exceptional animal, human and mythical carvings in bone and antler. Following the tragic death of his son in a car accident in 1971, Stan Hill went through a life transformation and left his profession as an ironworker. He realized the importance of life and enjoying what you do during the short time you have on earth. He turned to an occupation through which he found enjoyment and meaning - the art of carving and the power of animals.

DISPLAY IDEAS IN YOUR HOME AND OFFICE
TAKE A LOOK AT OUR PINTEREST BOARD AND KEEP SENDING YOUR PHOTOS!Pinterest
Thank you so much for sending in your photos of your displays! We have really enjoyed seeing the different way everyone displays their artwork - some are by theme, some by color, some more organized and some more free-spirited! What is fantastic - for you, for us and for all artists- is that ALL of the images show how much people really cherish their works of art.

We will not disclose the origin of any of the images, so they will be "anonymous" collections or displays. We will soon offer all images as a regular feature addition on our webpage too!

TIP OF THE DAY - HOW TO PUT ON AND CARE FOR YOUR CUFF-STYLE BRACELETTipOfDay
Sounds simple, but there is a good trick to wearing your cuff style bracelets and also great tips on keeping your bracelet in top shape! Most bracelets in the Shop will fit most average-sized wrists; you don't really have to have an exact "size," as slight variations will still fit the same wrist. The MAIN concern is that it is comfortable and won't fall off, which also means never bending your bracelet since silver is soft and will weaken over time. For some great tips and diagrams, see our tips on How to Put on a Bracelet.
