Spotlight on Agent Training:
Disney Destinations Training Opportunity
The first event, a tour of several resorts, will take place from approx 1pm- 5:30pm on Thursday, April 7th. The tour will include at least one value, one moderate, one deluxe resort. A one-day park hopper ticket will be provided to each agent following the inspections!
Agents will meet at the first resort that is being toured and details will be provided in the confirmation letter after registration. Transportation will be provided from the first resort and agents will be brought back to the original resort at the conclusion of the tours. Lunch will not be provided during this event and agents are advised to bring a snack and water as it can be a long afternoon.
The second event, a tour of the Disney Dream will take place from approximately 9:30am - 2:00pm on Friday, April 8th. Agents will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Port Canaveral. Lunch will be provided onboard the Disney Dream following the ship tour.
IMPORTANT: There is no cost for either event but participating agents do have to complete College of Disney Knowledge through the Destination Genius training via disneytravelagents.com in order to attend either of these events. If you are already a College of Disney Knowledge graduate you will only need to take the 2016 product update to be eligible.
Although there is no cost, a $15 no show fee charged if an agent registers and does not attend. Husband and wife partners can attend as long as they are both active, selling agents and both will need to have completed the online training required.
We believe that you will find these types of training opportunities very beneficial and will continue to advise you of events in your area.
