"Just want to thank you again for one of the best gifts ever....a Room to Breathe gift certificate!

I had no idea how good it would feel to get rid of clutter rather than adding to it.  I've asked my daughters for the same thing this Christmas.  I look forward to working with you again soon!"

Greetings!

As my business grows it's important for me to thank those to whom helped me achieve success.  It's seems to easy to forget this when busy schedules abound and an ever growing to do list stares at me.

I don't want to take for granted all those who have helped me achieve goals I wasn't sure were possible.  I encourage you to also not take your blessings for granted.  Take a moment to focus on what you have, what you've accomplished and the valued people in your life.

It never ceases to amaze me what a few kinds words via email or better yet, hand written notes, can do for one's soul.

Who can you reach out to and thank today?

What's Your Attitude of Gratitude?

10 Ways to Count Your Blessings and Say Thank You!

Remember, even just a sentence or two of sincere words of gratitude go a very, very long way.

Take a moment to express gratitude to those that deserve it!

This could include your family, friends, employees, neighbors, co-workers, business associates, the mailman,  your hairdresser, teachers/coaches, or maybe even a stranger that did something nice for you unexpectedly.

Need a few easy ideas to express your gratitude? Give some of these a try:
  1. Tell Them.  Sounds silly, right?  A simple email, phone call, or hand written note is all it takes.

  2. Suprise Them.  Do you happen to know if the person has a favorite wine, beer, candy bar, restuarant, etc?  Suprise them with something you know they will love and/or enjoy!

  3. Make It Known.  Use Facebook or other social media outlet to give your thanks in a public forum.  This is especically nice for those running small businesses.

  4. Make Them Feel Special.  If you spend time with someone, please for pete's sake, unplug from technology.  Focus your time on them and make them feel special and appreciated.

  5. Reciprocate.  If someone did something very nice for you, is there a way you can reciprocate?  Perhaps if they donated to your favorite charity, you could do the same or even give of your time or energy.

  6. Handwrite a Note:  A handwritten note delivered via snail mail seems to go a long way these days.

  7. Schedule Gratitude Times.  If you feel that your schedule doesn't allow you to be as grateful to others as you would like to be, don't be afraid to schedule time to do so.  You can use this time to meet for coffee, write a note, or whatever works for you.

  8. Keep Gratitude Gifts on Hand.  Don't be afraid to keep some note cards or gift cards on hand for when you want to send a quick thank you or gift.

  9. Give Without Expecting to Get.  Give your gratitude without expecting anything in return.  It's amazing how this ultimately does get returned.

  10. Pay It Forward.  Do something thoughtful for someone else.

Before and After Photos!

Many of you have been asking for Before and After photos...Thank you valued clients for giving permission for your spaces to be shared in hopes of helping someone else live simply organized or sell their home quicky!

Before: This kitchen and family room had NO personality or life. Everything was white and worn. The family living in this home was full of fun and personality so we wanted to provided connection from there to their spaces.

After: Refinished hardwood floors, quartz counter tops, glass tile backsplash, fresh paint and a few fresh decorative items give this space life again!
After: This family room had anything but wow factor. The large windows were trapped by curtains that didn't "fit", there was no space plan and no one was happy to hang out in this room.
After: This room now invites family and friends to sit and hang out a while. The large windows are showcased by curtains that now fit, but still allow in light and provide for privacy.
