Four members of the Virginia women's soccer team were named to the 2013 All-ACC Academic Women's Soccer team, tying the most selections in school history.  

The Maryland State ODP 1998 (U16) Boys team will represent Region I in the 2014 US Youth Soccer ODP National Championships being held in Phoenix, Arizona beginning February 28th.  

The Super Y-League announced its First 11 rankings for the 2013 season, with local clubs Northern Virginia Majestics and Northern Virginia Royals both making the list. 

D.C. United is back in town for training after a 17-day preseason trip to Bradenton, Fla. The team will depart for Charleston, SC on Thursday for the 2014 Carolina Challenge Cup.  

The MISL Baltimore Blast have their last two regular season home games this weekend at the Baltimore Arena. At 13-3 on the season, they will be playing either the Syracuse Silver Knights away on March 7th or Missouri Comets away on March 9th, depending on those teams' results from the remainder of the season.  

The semifinals of the MSSA Rowland & Morton Cups are have been rescheduled for this upcoming weekend due to the winter weather last weekend.   

VYSA has made the application for 2014 Spring U19 State Cup available.  

WAGS division structures will be posted tomorrow at 5pm.  

The NCSL will hold a mandatory new team meeting on Monday, March 17 at 7:30pm.

MLS season expected to start on time despite differences with referees' union: Despite a report from The Washington Post indicating that Major League Soccer referees have yet to reach an agreement on a deal for their first collective bargaining agreement, the head of the referees organization says it will not affect the start of the season next month.
