After their win on Thursday night, the Baltimore Blast kept their momentum and came out with another victory Sunday night, 18-4 against the Missouri Comets.

A number of players from Prince William Soccer, Inc. officially committed to a range of NCAA soccer programs this week.  

The U11 Baltimore Bays Chlesea Skipjacks won first place in the Maryland Sportsplex U11 Division 1 futsal league. The team is coming off an 8-0-0 fall season of play in the NCSL in their first year together. 

The U.S. Women's National Team's match against Russia scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12, has been postponed because of inclement weather in the Atlanta area. The game will be played at the Georgia Dome on Thursday, Feb. 13, with a kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.   

The Georgetown University men's soccer team signed six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to play on the Hilltop.   

William and Mary head women's soccer coach John Daly announced the signing of six student-athletes on Friday afternoon, five of whom hail from Virginia.  

The Virginia Tech women's soccer team, coming off the most successful season in program history, has signed six incoming freshmen - including three local products - to National Letters of Intent.  

Alan Paez has been appointed as Chairman of the NCSL Rules and Discipline Committee.  

Registration is open for the 2014 FASA Run for the Dream 5K and 1K races. Races start at the Spotsylvania Courthouse Village.

FIFA imposes life ban for match fixing referee: FIFA has imposed a worldwide lifetime ban on Lebanese referee Ali Sabbagh, who agreed to fix an April 2013 match in Singapore. FIFA also extended 10-year bans on Sabbagh's assistants, Ali Eid and Abdallah Taleb, to apply globally.
