Fabio Diletti has been named the new head coach of the WPSL's ACF Torino USA (formerly Maryland Capitols FC). The 2013 America East Champion UMBC women's soccer team will add five local products to its roster when it defends its title in 2014. Head Coach Lindsey Vanderspiegel and the VCU women's soccer program officially welcomed ten newcomers, including three locals, to the Black & Gold on Wednesday's National Signing Day. The Towson women's soccer program signed six student-athletes, including one local product, to National Letters of Intent (NLIs) on National Signing Day. The U.S. Soccer Development Academy technical staff will reward the top Under-13/14 team from that age group's inaugural 2013-14 season by sending the club to the 2014 Manchester United Premier Cup World Finals. Beginning in early 2014, US Club Soccer's Player Development Program (PDP) will grow to offer new expanded PDP pilot programs involving additional age groups and more frequent training opportunities for some of the country's top players. After a year-long search, the DC Stoddert Board of Directors announced the selection of Doug Homer as the club's first ever Executive Director.
