YAKIMA VALLEY TOURISM HOLDS 'FARMER'S MARKET

Every September, Yakima Valley Tourism with the Yakima Convention Center, Centerplate Catering, and partnering hotels hold a mock Farmer's Market at the Lacey Community Center for their meeting planners and prospective convention groups. The produce is graciously donated by Jones Farms, Imperial Gardens and Thompson's Farm.  This year 48 meeting planners representing 22 associations attended for a fun filled open house luncheon where they got to "shop" in our local market.
