YAKIMA VALLEY TOURISM MEDIA EFFORTS

Staff has been touring travel media this past week. We had the husband and wife team of David Dickinson and Myscha Theriault in town. Myscha writes a weekly syndicated column for McClatchy-Tribune News Service called The Thrifty Traveler and both of them write for Canada.com. In addition, we coordinated a trip for a writer on assignment doing a feature for the Seattle Times focusing on 'the other side of Mt. Rainier' with an emphasis on outdoor recreation.

In the meantime, enjoy this Real Food Traveler Bale Breaker Brewery feature by Nancy Zaffaro resulting from her visit here last spring. She has two more wine related articles pending.
