Our overdue look at a few of the 2013 Monterey Week events will no doubt bring many "I was there" exclamations from those who made the trip to the Pacific's edge to mingle among the finest automobiles in existence.

While a few Italian cars dominated the week's news, Mercedes-Benz was again well represented on the Peninsula. There was an amazing variety of models to see via the Legends event, MB Classic Center's stylish pavilion and the restored classics arrayed on Pebble Beach's hallowed 18th fairway Sunday.
