STUDENT NEWS

Meet "Weather Bear!"

PreK-4 was introduced to a "Weather Bear" activity during which students learned about the weather and appropriate fall and winter clothing. The children were then able to dress the "Weather Bear" based on the weather for that day.

Field Trip!

The eighth graders traveled to Molloy Passionists Retreat House in Jamaica Estates on Tuesday, November 25th for their Confirmation Retreat. There was much reflection and community at the event, as the students prepared for their Confirmation.

Girls in Action

The older Cadettes have been setting a wonderful example for the younger girls. They made a poster of Girl Scout founder Juliette Lowe and spoke to the Brownies and Daisies about the inspirational woman that she was. The Cadettes have also planted tulips and purple allium in front of the school, making the entrance to St. Stans even more welcoming. Meanwhile, the Daisies and Brownies attended Cookie University at Mercy College. They learned all about how to market and sell cookies as well as about the new program, which will allow them to sell cookies online.
