Registration/Attendee Policy: The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation works diligently, so classes can be provided year round at no cost
 to the attendee. Classes are usually open to a survivor and one guest (unless otherwise noted). Some classes may be restricted in size and will require pre-registration. 

 

Extreme Weather Policy: The safety of attendees, staff and service providers are top priority at the Foundation. Classes may be delayed, postponed or cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. In the case of extreme weather, please call (401)861-4376 prior to leaving to check the status of the class.  
Saturday, February 1, 2014: 

 

11:00AM to 12:00PM ~ ***NEW CLASS!!*** Booty Barre An energetic, fun workout that fuses fitness techniques with Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define the whole body. The Booty Barre� method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn fat fast. You do not even need any dance experience to enjoy this class. This class is held at Body Complete Fitness Center, 1375 Park Avenue, Cranston.

Sunday, February 2, 2014:

 

12:30PM to 1:45PM ~ Gentle Yoga at Shri-Studio, 21 Broad Street, Pawtucket. Come join survivors in this wonderfully

relaxing, enjoyable and gentle workout. 

Held every Sunday. FREE TO BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS ONLY, provided by the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

 

Tuesday, February 4, 2014:

 

5:30PM to 6:30PM ~ Yoga for Breast Cancer,  Providence Healing Arts Studio class have been moved to 29 Willing Ave, Warwick until further notice. This class is specifically designed to provide survivors, patients, and caregivers with the holistic practice of yoga & meditation to help manage the stressors associated with cancer.
Held every Tuesday.
 

6:30PM to 8:30PM ~ Angels Among Us with Gladys of Heavenly Hugs. Come learn about Angels, Archangels, Guardian Angels, and how YOU can receive messages and guidance from these magnificent beings daily.

Thursday, February 6, 2014:

 

6:30PM to 7:30PM ~ Healthy-Steps: Gentle movement, dance, and music will help improve overall wellness, range of motion, balance, strength, and endurance, as well as emotional wellbeing and self-image. 

This class is held in conference rooms D & E every Thursday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, 211 Park St Attleboro, MA. Please call to register 508-236-7010.

 

6:00PM ~ Mindful Yoga at Shri Studio, 21 Broad Street, Pawtucket. Become in-tune with how your body is feeling. Class is ideal for beginners. Breathing techniques to center the mind with restorative postures. 

Held every Thursday. Class open to breast cancer survivor and one guest, provided by the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

6:30PM to 8:00PMCancer and Sexuality. Cancer often brings many changes-physical, emotional and sexual. Learn how to improve your sexual health in this exciting new three-part series class--and have fun in the process! And, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
