A huge sale on frames will take place in the lobby on the 2nd floor, the proceeds of which will support AVA's Scholarship Fund.

AVA Featured in Happening's Article "Galleries going green"
The article by Shane Barnard begins:

Across all industries, 'sustainability' has become the buzzword of the 21st century. From petroleum producers, car manufacturers and architectural companies, to fashion labels and investment firms - if you're not 'going green', it seems you're not going anywhere.

With its annual calendar packed with international art fairs, its global galleries and the world-renowned artists around whom it all revolves, how is the art world defining its environmental responsibilities? Artists have long explored environmental and human sustainability issues in their work. Recently, galleries and art institutions have also been embarking on long-term projects: revamping the buildings that house them, changing the light bulbs in their exhibition spaces and, more importantly, re-thinking behaviors that have long gone unchallenged.
