It's an exciting time of year, watching the spring unfold with color and life. The magnolia tree in Kira's Garden has flowered; the tulips in front of AVA's Carter-Kelsey building are singing in reds and yellows.

AVA's Summer Art Camps are starting to fill. Parents, please visit avagallery.org to learn more about the thirty-five creative programs we offer to ages 5-8, 9-12, and teens.

And sign-up soon for our June 17 trip to the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the New York Botanical Garden. Tickets are selling briskly and space is limited.

We hope to see you soon,

Call to Storytellers: The Mudroom at AVA

The June 18th Mudroom Will Be on the Theme "All in the Family."

In the spirit of "This American Life," "The Moth", "Arctic Entries" and other storytelling events, The Mudroom brings Upper Valley residents to the stage to share their personal stories, be they adventurous, mysterious, funny, sad or sweet. At each performance, five selected speakers tell a seven-minute long story relating to the show's theme. Live music is featured before the storytelling, at the intermission, and at the conclusion of the event.

If you are interested in telling your story at the June 18th Mudroom, please click here to email for complete information.

Deadline: June 5
