AVA's 2014 Holiday Exhibition and Sale will be on display November 28 - December 24 with an opening reception from 5-7pm the day after Thanksgiving.

Artwork Delivery Dates:

Saturday, November 15, 11am-5pm

Monday, November 17, 11am-5pm

Tuesday, November 18, 11am-5pm

A Limited Number of Scholarships Are Available    

   

 

Veterans Day Display of World War I Posters

November 10 & 11  

 

AVA will be exhibiting a special Veterans Day Display of World War I Posters on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 11, 2014. A selection of framed World War I posters will be on display in the main galleries from 11:00am-5:00pm. Al Quirk, a longtime AVA supporter, donated these posters from his extensive collection. The posters on display will be available for purchase with all the proceeds to benefit AVA.

 

This special exhibition is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served on Tuesday, November 11, following the Annual Veteran's Day Parade organized by the American Legion of Lebanon, NH.

 

Make Your Own Greeting Cards at AVA!

At CAOS, CAOS for Toddlers, ART STOP!, Art Lab, Senior Art and more! 

 

During the month of November, AVA will offer artists of all ages the opportunity to have their artwork reproduced as high-quality greeting cards.

 

A box of 20 custom cards, featuring your or your child's artwork, will cost $20, with proceeds benefiting AVA's programs.

The December 2014 Mudroom

Call for Stories: "Outliers"

 

 

 

The Mudroom, modeled after NPR's The Moth Radio Hour, continues to draw large crowds to AVA for lively evenings with talented storytellers and mesmerized audiences.  


The Mudroom is currently seeking storytellers with a tale to share on the theme, "Outliers," for the December 11 event.

Call for Artists: The Space

Deadline: November 14

 
The Space is looking for original, groundbreaking ideas and art for audiences to experience on mobile phones and tablets. Any artist over 18 from anywhere in the world can apply. The Space will offer a commission to winning projects, as well as an online platform to publish the work, and training and mentoring to help develop expertise.

 

 
The Fruitlands: Artist-in-Residence Program
Deadline: December 6

The Artist-in-Residence Program (AIR) at Fruitlands seeks contemporary artists whose work complements our collections and the landscape.

 

The artist participates in a season-long study of the museum, as reflected in their artwork. Any artist who works in poetry, painting, fabric, pottery, sculpture, music & sound, new media and site specific installations may apply.
