Opening Reception: Friday, November 29, 5-7pm



Our 2013 Holiday Sale and Exhibition will feature the work of artists long associated with AVA as well as those newly involved with our organization. Works in a variety of media will be on display and available for sale in a wide range of prices. The Holiday Sale and Exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to find unique, locally made, handcrafted gifts for your friends and family. The exhibition will be replenished as the work sells, so be sure to come by often to see the exhibit as it evolves from beginning to end!

Sundays, December 15 and 22, 12noon-4pm
Monday, December 23, 11am-5pm
Tuesday, December 24, 11am-3pm   

Closed December 25 and 26   

 

At the Opening Reception on November 29, AVA will be accepting donations of nutritious, non-perishable foods to be given to the Upper Valley Haven. Please consider bringing a donation of food if you are able. Thank you.

Our Winter 2014 program is filled with diverse arts opportunities for all ages and abilities, including new exhibitions; more than 40 classes, camps and workshops; and many special programs that partner with other Upper Valley organizations. Come to AVA to keep your spirit warm during the coldest time of year.

The Mudroom at AVA
Join Us for the December 5 Gathering



The Mudroom -- a program modeled after NPR's "The Moth Radio Hour," where adults in the Upper Valley come together to share real-life stories -- will have its second gathering at AVA on Thursday, December 5 at 7pm. 

 

The theme for this selection of stories will be "Law & Order."

In addition to the fantastic storytelling, the line-up for the December 5th gathering will also include:

Music by Tritium Well
Food and drink will be available as well

 
Save the Date: AVA's 2013 Open House
Saturday, December 7, 11-4pm

 

AVA's annual Open House will take place on Saturday, December 7, from 11am to 4pm.  

 

Throughout the day, there will be live music, our Holiday Sale and Exhibition on display in the galleries, refreshments, self-guided tours of our LEED Gold-certified building, and more. 

 

In addition, many of the resident artists on AVA's 2nd and 3rd floors will open their studio doors, offering you a chance to see the marvelous work they make - including a dazzling sale of CoolSnowGlobes!
