Bonnie Vona , USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section Competitive Tennis Manager will explain changes to the section ranking system to help players progress on the pathway to sectional and national rankings. For example, now events on the national junior tournament schedule will count toward sectional rankings. This requires realignment in the designation of MAS tournament levels and the associated point charts. Although it may appear confusing at first, the new levels are designed to simplify tournament naming, especially for events that count for national points.
