Making a Difference award:
National Night Out

Winona's National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, build police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that Winona's neighborhoods are organized and will not tolerate criminal behavior. Target has been an excellent corporate sponsor of the annual event. With the help of the Winona Police Department, Target, and other community partners and neighbors, Winona held two NNO celebrations this year, at East End Rec and Maplewood Apartments. We would like to thank everyone that came out that night, and especially everyone that helped make it a success!

Congratulations to our staff!

We love working with you to create a healthier Winona!

Sincerely,
Live Well Winona

Date Night idea: Mystery Cave
Written by Jade Gilbertson, Intern at Live Well Winona

Is it time for date night? Let's get mysterious...and visit Mystery Cave! It is the longest cave in Minnesota with over 13

miles underground.  The passages through the tunnel were carved out by moving water and that is the exact path that you and your date will be taking when you visit the Forestville Mystery cave tour.  This cave tour will make for a unique and educational adventure for all ages. So bring the kids along and make it a family night or keep it between the adults. Visit their website for more information and to reserve a tour.

Thermos-Ready Smoothie & Healthy Chicken Salad:

Enjoy a quick and healthy breakfast option that can be taken on the go. Also try a way to change up the typical sandwich brown bag option.
