Mobile Health Training Opportunity
The 2015 NIH mHealth Training Institute will be held at UCLA from August 24-28 (https://md2k.org/events/traininginstitute). A few auditor slots are available for UCLA faculty who are either working in mHealth or have an interest in its clinical applications. Nonhuman Primate Opportunities with UC Davis

Hospital Readmissions for Sepsis in California
A UCLA CTSI-supported study found that sepsis accounts for nearly the same percentage of readmissions as heart attacks and congestive heart failure and costs health systems more to treat than heart attacks and CHF combined.  Full story here.
