On October 24th,  a 3 hour webinar presented by Lucy Deckard of Academic Research Funding Strategies will focus on how to begin the research funding process, especially geared toward new faculty. UC ReX: a UC Shared Data Resource 

UC Research eXchange and its UC ReX Data Explorer tool provide researchers and specialists access to cohort counts derived from the de-identified clinical data of over 12 million patients collected at the point of care from the five UC health campuses. Click here for more information

Bioethics Conference- Cincinnati, OH
The University of Cincinnati Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) and Ethics Center of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center are inviting abstracts for podium and poster presentations at the March 12-13, 2015 conference on Genomics and Ethics in Research and Medical Decision-Making. CTSI K Award Bridge Grant
Junior faculty who have received competitive scores on NIH K awards and plan to resubmit are eligible for the K Award Bridge Grant, which provides support and additional time for faculty to strengthen their submission. Application deadline is Dec. 1. Follow the link for details.
