Grant Review and Submission Seminar Series

On Oct. 14, speakers Dr. Leslie Raffel, Dr. Mitch Wong, Dr. John Adams and Denise Gellene will review the process of preparing and resubmitting an NIH grant, including K award applications. On Oct. 16, Dr. John Adams will discuss the NIH review process, and Dr. Leonard Rome, Dr. Christina Wang, Dr. Lenore Arab, Dr. Chris Denny and Robin Faria will talk about non-NIH funding sources. Seminar: 10 Most Common IP Mistakes by Faculty

Intellectual property attorney Suzannah K. Sundby, managing partner of the Washington D.C. office of Canady + Lortz,  will discuss how faculty can avoid common mistakes on Oct. 16. UC ReX: a UC Shared Data Resource

UC Research eXchange and its UC ReX Data Explorer tool provide researchers and specialists access to cohort counts derived from the de-identified clinical data of over 12 million patients collected at the point of care from the five UC health campuses. Click here for more information

A.P. Giannini Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
Nov. 3 is the application deadline for this three-year fellowship. Postdoctoral investigators with 6-36 months experience may apply. Click here for additional details.
 
Core Voucher RFA--Westwood Only
CTSI will award 12 vouchers worth up to $8K each for core services. Rolling applications will be accepted beginning Oct. 13. The RFA will close when funds are exhausted. Interested applications are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible. For additional details, go here.
