Working Through Trusted Community Partnerships to Promote Mental Wellness
Go here for details on this Sept. 13 event presented by the National Library of Medicine, Healthy African American Families II and CTSI partners. Among those encouraged to attend are students, community partners, researchers, faculty administrators, health care providers, anyone licensed or unlicensed that provides social services, substance abuse services, ministers, senior center staff members, staff from parks and recreation centers, and seniors.

LOI for NCATS Therapeutics for Rare and Neglected Diseases (TRND) Program
The National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) is now accepting proposals to collaborate with the TRND program. The program performs preclinical and early clinical development of new drugs for rare and neglected tropical diseases and develops new technologies and paradigms to improve the efficiency of therapeutic development for these disorders. Tips on Developing a Data-Sharing Plan
If you are applying to NIH for more than $500K in annual direct costs, your application must include a data-sharing plan. This Aug. 28 seminar, conducted by the UCLA Biomedical Library, will provide an introduction to what you need to know to develop such a plan. For details and RSVP, please go here.
