CTSI Summer Fellows to Present at Poster Fair
The Josiah Brown Poster Fair on Aug. 1 will feature posters from 125 medical students, including CTSI-supported fellows. The fair will be held at UCLA in the outdoor plaza between the Center for Health Sciences and Jules Stein between 1 and 4 pm. Click here for a list of presenters.
Powerful Black Family Celebration
This third annual community event in Inglewood Aug. 3 includes healthy cooking demonstrations; health screenings for cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure; Q&As with doctors; sports activities collaborating with the LA Sparks; and giveaways. Details can be found here.
Tips on Developing a Data-Sharing Plan
If you are applying to NIH for more than $500K in annual direct costs, your application must include a data-sharing plan. This Aug. 28 seminar, conducted by the UCLA Biomedical Library, will provide an introduction to what you need to know to develop such a plan. For details and RSVP, please go here.
