Investigators May Request CTSI Services Online
A user-friendly portal on the CTSI website allows investigators to request a variety of assistance, including biostatistical support, clinical research services, and matchmaking to foster new community or inter-institutional collaborations. A UCLA log-in ID is required. Questions about the service can be directed to CTSI research facilitators.
CTSI Seeks Investigators to Pilot Clinical Research Data Warehouse
CTSI invites UCLA faculty to pilot the University of California Research eXchange (UC- ReX), an electronic system for estimating the size of potential research study cohorts. Information currently available includes demographics, diagnosis, and procedures performed on 11 million de-identified patients. Click here for details.
UCLA Researcher Receives $9-million NIMH Contract for "Fast Fail" Studies of Autism Drugs
James McCracken, MD, professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine, and colleagues, have received a $9-million contract from the National Institute of Mental Health to launch a program to rapidly test drugs for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The application deadline for this workshop in clinical study design, grants, protocols and translational research is today at 5 PM. Computational Biosciences Institute Postdoctoral Fellowships in Bioinformatics
Become a collaborative postdoc whose functions will be to engage in research projects that are conducted jointly between faculty of the CBI and non-CBI UCLA bioscience faculty and train UCLA students in the latest next-generation sequence analysis techniques.
