Bakken Field Produces First Billion Barrels of Oil

According to data from IHS, the Bakken's cumulative oil production reached the billion barrel mark in the First Quarter of 2014. 

ND oil production up slightly in Feb.

North Dakota oil production increased 1.7 percent in February to 951,340 barrels per day, according to preliminary numbers released by the Department of Mineral Resources.
