Back by popular demand we will be hosting our second "Get Ready for High School/College Seminar". We have decided that this information is so important that we are expanding it to 11th and 12th grade participants, AND we are inviting both young men and women to this event.
If you know a young man or woman who is a junior or senior in high school, or a recent high school graduate, then this is a MUST attend three hour seminar on Thursday October 22nd from 5:30-8:30 pm.
1) Drugs, alcohol and other ways to find yourself in the dean's office;
2) Sex assault on campus: why young men are facing these allegations at a rising and troubling rate and how to defend yourself if suspected of this crime;
3) Sex assault on campus: what to do if you have been victimized, and identifying/avoiding precarious situations;
4) College disciplinary actions and investigations;
5) Social media and more!
All too often our law firm is contacted by families of young men and women who face issues they never thought they would have to face. Suspensions, expulsions, probation, and even prison have become the new normal and we believe this trend will only continue in 2015-2016 and beyond. We invite your son or daughter to attend this seminar to discuss the risks associated with high school and college from attorneys who have been in the trenches dealing with college and high school administrators, victims' advocates and the police. We hope our experience and advice can help your children avoid mistakes that can have lifelong consequences.
There is a $25 charge for this seminar which includes dinner and refreshments. All students must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian (parents are free). The topics to be discussed will contain explicit language and references. This seminar is limited to 25 students (additional seminars may be added).
Thursday October 22, 2015 from 5:30-8:30 pm at the law offices of Foster, Graham, Milstein & Calisher, LLP located at 360 South Garfield Street, suite 600, Denver, CO 80209. Please RSVP to
[email protected] or call 303-333-9810.
