Holiday CA Women Lead logo MESSAGE FROM THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Happy Holidays from California Women Lead! As we reflect on a successful 2013 we want to thank our members and partners for their support of our programs and mission to engage women in the political process. If you are not a member, I hope you will consider joining us or consider becoming a financial partner by sponsoring one of our programs.

In 2013, we hosted events from Redding to San Diego, we worked with women on navigating the appointments process, and were successful in getting a number of our members appointed by Governor Brown. We have members running for local office in 2014 and have been working closely to train and empower women candidates for the State Legislature in 2014. Yes, 2013 was a great year for us, but 2014 will be even better as we celebrate 40 YEARS of California Women Lead (at that time CEWAER) and the work we have done to empower California women leaders.

As we take time to reflect on this holiday season and another successful year comes to an end, I want to extend a personal heartfelt thank you to the members and partners of California Women Lead. Without you, we could not have the impact we do on empowering women leaders. We are making a difference, working across political party lines, engaging women who never thought they could serve and we are inspiring the next generation of women leaders.

On behalf of the State Board of Directors and staff we wish you and your family a wonderful Holiday Season and a very happy 2014!

Happy Holidays,
