ASSEMBLYMEMBER KRISTIN OLSEN

Women bring a certain style to public policy and that was front and center at the How Women Lead event in Walnut Creek with Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen and Fiona Ma.  While both serving in the State Assembly, they developed a personal relationship that helped them see a different perspective on issues and more importantly develop a respect and friendship across the aisle.

Executive Director/CEO Rachel Michelin lead a candid discussion about how women lead, gender politics in the State Capitol, and how women need to work together in a bipartisan manner if we are to see an increase in elected office at the state and local level. Click here to view more photos»
