THANK YOU HENNA This summer California Women Lead has had the pleasure of having an amazing intern, Henna Kaushal. She is currently an undergraduate student at University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights. Pictured right with candidate for State Controller Betty T. Yee, Henna was instrumental in helping California Women Lead plan the Appointments Training in Fresno. Friday was Henna's last day at California Women Lead and we want to give her a huge thanks!

HOW WOMEN LEAD Thursday, August 15, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Miller Starr Regalia
1331 N California Blvd, 5th Floor, Walnut Creek map
Too often we hear how partisan politics prevents solutions to real problems. We wonder what would happen if elected officials from different political parties worked together to solve problems. Fiona Ma and Kristin Olsen did just that. While both serving in the State Assembly, they "swapped" districts for a day in order to gain a better understanding of what Californians face in other parts of the state and were able to gain a new perspective on public policy.
