Most of our members are spending more time at the ranch this time of year but there are some who are enjoying the cooler fall fishing days on the coast. The tarpon bite really turned on toward the end of September through the middle of October this year with some of the boats having double digit days. The smaller cold fronts have just started to get the flounder moving out of the marshes but many people are already catching limits of decent size fish. Offshore there have still been some good blue marlin catches reported when boats could get out and the tuna bite has seemed to be up and down with the better bite being closer to the new moon.
