Jasen Gast's REHAB is the 2015 Lone Star Shootout Tournament Champion!
52 Boats entered the Shootout and contributed to an incredible optional side pot totaling $964,900! In addition to the big prize money paid out to the Shootout winners, HBGFC's scholarship recipients and conservation projects were big winners with a 5% donation of $48,245 going directly to the Club's Charitable Fund!

The Gulf of Mexico billfish season is in full swing and that means so is TBF's Gulf of Mexico Marlin Tagging Competition. In just its second year, word has spread quickly around the Gulf and competition is heating up with just two months left in the competition. . Winners will be announced along with the results of TBF's International Tag & Release Competition and recognized with great prizes from King Sailfish Mounts and Costa during the Miami International Boat Show in February, 2016. Keep up to date with standings at www.billfish.org

Thanks to the Lonestar Shootout, we have had a big shake up in the Texas Division! Will Lett's Mojo is still the Top Private Boat with 6,500 points, Jasen Gast's REHAB is in second place with 4,025 points and Randy King's Paparda Rey is in third place with 3,750 points. The current Top Male Angler is Jasen Gast with 2,525 points followed closely by Marty Griffith with 2,228 points and Steve Ferguson holds third place with 1,014 points. Christy Barwise is the Top Female Angler with 1,500 points and Mandy Yeager holds second place with 700 points.
In the International Division, Tom Shumate's Patron is holding the first place Top Private Boat with an incredible 38,900 points and Darryl Schroeder's Dream Time is in a close second place with 34,000 points. Bob Henderson's Great Escape is holding third place with 13,500 points. Tom Shumate is also holding the first place Top Male Angler division with 28,800 points and Bob Henderson is holding the second place with 17,800 points. Lori Schroeder is holding the first place Top Female Angler with 2,250 points and Kassidy Nethery is holding the Top junior Angler division with 1,900 points.
